- Put the cold/ hot bag into freezer to be refrigerated for 1 hour before taking out for use

Microwave: Place gel pack into microwave container or cover completely with water for about 30 seconds on high power. After this time, check that the correct temperature has been reached
Do not heat over 90 seonds in microwave
Times are based on a 600w microwave. Adjust heating time accordingly to suit the power of your microwave - Hot water: bring water to boil, and immerse the gel pack for 4-10 minutes. After 4 minutes, check every minute to see if the correct temperature has been reached
