Hi Pursya, unfortunately the box doesn't seem to mention it can play files directly out of the flash drive, so I am not sure, sorry!

I have tested units like this before, and they mention that the firmware can be upgraded. I have yet to find a company that supports this claim. Is there a website that we can check for F/W upgrades and what is it.
Also the speed of the video decoder chips are not very fast, has anyone experienced out of sync voice from time to time?
