I need a torch to take away with me overseas but I don't want it turning on accidentally in my luggage. This torch looks perfect because of all its functions although what is the on switch mechanism like?

it's a nice little torch (two in fact). the on/off switch is a "push" one, and in fact, it switches between the modes too, but i am afraid it can be accidentally pushed as there is no "protection" mechanism. however, i would suggest that you take the batteries out before putting it in the luggage.
