Yes i would aslo like to know if they are legal to use on road vehicles as i bought them last time and dont want to put them on if i can get finned..

If they are YELLOW, they should be okay.
You're not allowed to have any BLUE lights on a road vehicle, except emergency vehicles.
As far as I know, side lights can only be YELLOW.

Actually, yellow lights aren't allowed either, it's amber lights that are allowed, but only for certain vehicles and not on wheels, (at least, not in Western Australia). Lights on wheels would likely be seen as a distraction and/or excessive lighting over here. WA regulations stipulate that red lights may only be used on the rear of a vehicle, white on the front and amber on the sides, althought I think trucks may be allowed to have a certain amount of amber lights on the front because of their size. Quite definitely, no other colours of lights are allowed on motor vehicles when used on the road.
