hi msl325, sorry we are unable to post a screen shot, but the menu system is sort of standard and should be easy enough for anyone to navigate through. cheers ray

hi msl325, i am not sure if the menu system is like ipod to be honest, and i am not sure if different models of ipod would use different menu systems either, i have an ipod nano myself and i can tell it's a bit different to this one, but if you have a look at one of the photos, there is a menu button you press to access the menu system, and from there on i imagine it would be similar to most other mp4/mp3 players' menu system. is there any poticular concern you have regarding the menu system? cheers ray

I've seen some of the cheaper asian mp3 and the menu is very clunky - not user friendly - more frustrating to try and navigate around.

hi msl325, i know what you are saying, some user-unfriendly menu systems are hard to navigate around, but i found that even with these unfriendly ones once you spend some time getting used to it, they are not too unfriendly all that much. having said that, this LASER mp4 player's menu seems to be easy enough (to me anyway) even the first time. cheers ray

Hi ] I bought a mp3 player from here a 2 or 3 months ago. It was 4gb, same price but different design. It looks like the same packaging though and the same mini CD software inc.(which btw only supported win98!!). I can honestly say dont waste your money on these. The interface is so unfriendly its almost unusable. The graphic and pics are very low resolution so you cant tell what image you are looking at. The recording levels are (wei-to-lo)too low. Apart from that FM radio works ok, it plays ur mp3s ok after wading through the strange/clumsy interface. Id say no thought went into its design. Oh and the earphones (which look like the same as these ones) are very cheap and nasty... PS This is def. not an Ipod- you pay for what ya get...

I'm not worried about not being ABLE to use it or figure it out. Just don't like the unfriendly nature of the interface - it's frustrating and bothersome that it becomes the opposite of a joy to use!
