thanks fingaltracy for answering that, i wasn't sure myself and was trying to find out...will it down-convert to G speed in a N network? or will it just NOT work at all?

the exact model number is ED-1296, but i am not sure about the chipset, i only pick up "SAGEM 11g wi-fi USB adapter" from device manager, unless someone can tell me how to check the chipset, anyone?
