HI there. If this is the promotional product for free why I have to pay $4.98 for the post. This is the well put strategy. Cheers

Can never understand this "everything must be free" mentality.
Is this caused by the govt giving people so much "free" stuff?
Why should an organisation which must make a profit to exist, which pays to get a promotional item and store it and handle it and then gives it to you for FREE, also have to pay to get it out to you?
If someone gives you tickets to a show do you expect them to also supply you with $20 to cover your costs to get to the show?

Sorry robjar, I disagree. having been an Ozstock subscriber for a few years now, I have noticed that anything offered for "free" has inflated postage prices. Very often, the identical item PLUS postage is available on eBay & elsewhere for cheaper!

personally i find the forum difficult and confusing and needs moderation to remove the idiot posts (ref 27 Feb)
as far as the company is concerned its OK it has a proposition that you are free to accept or reject your choice just like buying a ford or Holden.
i am concerned with the constant delays in receipt of products ordered usually a extended delay in delivery times maybe its time to reevaluate your shipping dept / contractors??
as for the people who whinge and complain its as simple as "buyer beware" i would have used the Latin but i cant remember it lol

For those who complain about inflated postage costs, it is usually listed as shipping and handling or do you expect that for free as well and to those who say they can get things listed as "free" here cheaper on e-bay, well why don't you go ahead and get it there then. I have always found that though the delivery may be a bit slow (but I live in a rural area and that may be part of the problem) the product always arrives and is good quality for the price and well packed and undamaged, something that may not happen with e-bay products. If you don't want to pay the shipping price then don't put in your order in the 1st place.

Hi Ray... Can you inform us as to why there is not a comment thread for every product sold on here? I "bought" the watch advertised on 01/10/2012 (free, with postage) and within 2 weeks of normal use, the band broke:( I just think it's fair to inform others that if the product was offered again (as I have seen before), then others have the right to be informed.

Seems like the forum has come to a big STOP.... any comments Ray? Or is it a case of OzStock well knowing that (at least some)of the products are just useless junk, and by stopping the forums you are in damage control?
Nothing personal Ray, but when a buyer wants to make a comment, and a forum has been set up just for that purpose, it should be maintained and responded to when someone does comment, be it good or bad....

The Walkie Talkie handset which was promoted as an "In-car hands-free speaker for Mobile phones" transmits voice well enough and probably does all that it was advertised to do, but it defeats its own purpose in that the user still has to handle the mobile phone to accept the call before it can be relayed through the walkie-talkie. It's very basic technology and not quite as sophisticated as one would expect to couple to a smartphone.

The Walkie Talkie Handset which you promoted as "In-car hands-free speaker for Mobile Phones" transmitted voice clearly enough and probably did all that it was advertised to do, but it defeated its own purpose by the need for the user to handle the phone to accept the call before it could be re-routed through the 'hands-free' speaker. It is fairly basic technology and not as sophisticated as might be necessary for a modern 'smartphone'.

Agree with robjar... seems to be a lot of ungrateful people around these days. $4.98 postage is a cup of coffee for goodness sake. I purchased this same item last time, and am very happy with the quality and the price of postage. The equivalent in Target was $12+. And those who say its cheaper on eBay are joking yeah? Been with Ozstock about 4 years now and sure there is the odd purchase that was a waste of time (like the free massager that could hardly massage a fly), but there are quite a few that I am very very happy indeed.
Thanks ozstock

A phone number thats answered during advertized hours would be helpful. I'm reasonably even tempered with people who have issues providing there is a reasonable attempt at communication, however I get very aggro when I'm ignored. This mob appear to leave the phone off the hook & ignore emails .... NOT HAPPY JAN !!

I have been dealing with Ozstocks for some time now, normally everything goes ok with deliveries, some take longer than others. But when something doesnt arrive and I get completly ignored in my efforts to let them know, that makes you frustrated.
If you are going to have something like this, there should be a suitable way of contacting to let you know, I know it will be replaced but for gods sake, protect the company name and respond to people looking for assistance.
There are other companies doing similar thins, and if you are not careful, you will loose these customers to other sellers

Just ordered an item & am keen to see how the service goes.
I don't take too much from the negative comments here because the thing about reviews is that people are always keen to give negative feedback, but you seldom hear about the positives.
I'll make up my own mind based on my experience & I'll let you all know either way.
strange that this forum seems to be dead, but I've posted here because I suspect that others will look here prior to purchasing.
