The title of todays item seems misleading to me and I'd say borders on false advertising. Unless I've got it wrong, it is NOT a "7.1 Channel External USB 3D Sound Card", it is a stereo (2.0) USB sound card that comes with windows software to down mix 7.1 to 2.0 before it goes to the dongle. I know if you read and understand the small print it tells you, but the title is misleading IMHO.
Every time I see this item come up I get ready to buy assuming it really is 7.1 and has maybe an optical or coaxial output connector to support the 7.1.

hi G00f,
thanks for your info. i know for the fact that such sound cards that are being sold around the world (at such prices) are all "virtual 5.1 or 7.1" instead of real 5.1 or 7.1 which will require 6 or 8 speakers (i have a real 5.1 home theatre system at home that cost me around $7000 at the time of purchase). i believe i do have "virtual 7.1 channel" in the description somewhere, and the reason i leave that out in the title is because i normally try to make the title as short and concise as possible (otherwise the title could sometimes become way too long), but DEFINITELY not intend to be misleading or anything.......but, since you are bringing this up, i have no problem modifying the title, which i just did.
cheers
